Sen. Abe mourns Ahmed Gulak

Sen. Magnus Abe, a former lawmaker at the National Assembly has expressed sadness over the killing of former Political Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr Ahmed Gulak in Owerri.

This is contained in a statement by spokesperson for Abe Mr Parry Benson in Port Harcourt on Monday.

Abe, who represented Rivers South-East Senatorial district, described the death of Gulak, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain as shocking and painful.

He extended his condolences to the good people of Adamawa over the death of their son, the government and people of Imo.

He said that Gulak was a lawyer and politician, who held several positions including that of Political Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan.

He advised security agencies to conduct thorough investigations to unmask his killers in order to avoid needless speculations that could increase tension in the country.

“Our prayer is that God Almighty will grant the family the fortitude and strength to bear the irreparable loss,”he said
