Sanwo-Olu felicitates Oloja of Epe, Oba Animashaun on 80th birthday

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has felicitated with His Royal Majesty, Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun, the Oloja of Epe Land and Paramount Ruler of Epe Division, on his 80th birthday.

Sanwo-Olu hailed the monarch in a statement made available to Nigerian NewsDirect on Sunday, describing him as a pillar of unity for the people and a strong supporter of his administration’s policies.

The governor said that Oba Animashaun has blessed his administration with his wise counsel and divine wisdom in many respects, saying that his counsel goes beyond the affairs of his subjects in Epe Land but also covers issues that affect other parts of the state.

“Oba Kamorudeen Animashaun has blessed our government with his wise counsel and divine wisdom in many respects. His counsel goes beyond the affairs of his subjects in Epe Land as it covers issues that affect other parts of the state.

“Oba Animashaun’s life of service to his people, always pushing for progress, development, justice, and fairness in his kingdom and Lagos State as a whole, will remain indelible in the hearts of every Epe indigene both at home and in the diaspora forever,” he said.

The statement read, “As you celebrate your 80th birthday, my family and I join your family, friends, and associates, as well as the people of Epe Land and Lagos State in general, to wish you a happy birthday, a longer life, stronger health, and more wisdom to continue to direct the affairs of your subjects and contribute more towards the development of our dear state. May you never know a better yesterday.”
