Sanwo-Olu casts vote, assures voters of security

The Governor of Lagos State and Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has assured voters of safety in the ongoing elections in the state.

Sanwo-Olu said this after casting his vote at his Lagos Island polling unit.

According to him, “I have just exercised my right to vote as a resident of Lagos State.”

“It’s an important responsibility we all share in building the future of our beloved state and country. I urge all eligible voters to come out and make their voices heard.” He said.

He added that security officials are at every polling unit to ensure the safety of voters and urged the voters to cooperate with security operatives for the peaceful conduct of the polls.

Newsmen however report situation of violence in Ago Palace by thugs. The thugs were resisted by residents and members of the Nigeria Police force present.
