Sanwo-Olu appoints Oluwaloni as Acting Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appointed Oladipupo Oluwaloni as the Acting Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), following the extended medical absence of the substantive chairman, Mrs. Bolatito Shobowale, who has been away for over six months.
In an official statement from the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Rural Development, Bolaji Kayode-Roberts, the governor directed Oluwaloni to take immediate charge of the council’s administration.
The leadership transition was orchestrated by the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), led by its Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, who facilitated the process to maintain administrative stability.
Upon his appointment, Oluwaloni expressed his gratitude to Governor Sanwo-Olu and the party leadership for their confidence in his ability to lead.
“This is a great responsibility, and I am fully committed to upholding the trust placed in me. My focus will be on ensuring that governance at the grassroots remains effective, responsive, and aligned with the developmental agenda of our great state,” Oluwaloni said.
