Sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would cost Manchester United 7.5 million pounds

Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer’s job at Man Utd is in doubt. Man Utd’s latest defeat against Liverpool 0-5 left the manager in trouble and ‘The Sun’ has revealed how much the club would have to pay the Norwegian if they sacked him. Around 7.5 million pounds.

For a while now, all eyes in Manchester have been on Solskjaer. Man Utd have yet to get going and there are those who think the job is too big for the Norwegian.

Solskjaer could have his days numbered at Man Utd. Pochettino is one of the candidates to succeed him, according to the British press.

In the UK, ‘The Sun’ once again speculates this Thursday on his dismissal. This time, the newspaper goes a step further and reveals how much Solskjaer would get in redundancy pay if he were to be sacked: 7.5 million pounds.

As he has a valid contract, Man Utd would have to pay him a year’s salary. Solskjaer earns 7.5 million pounds a year and that is what the club would have to pay him.

Solskjaer is reportedly among the best paid in the whole Premier League. Only Guardiola, Klopp, Brendan Rodgers and Marcelo Bielsa earn more.

‘The Sun’ expect him not to be sacked yet. He will be in charge at least for this Saturday’s match with Tottenham.
