Royal Ambassadors celebrates 5th year anniversary

Royal Ambassadors celebrated her 5th year anniversary on Saturday at the Collosium Event Centre in Ijoko, Ogun State.
Royal Ambassador is a club established in Ijoko area of Ogun State aimed at empowering widows, youths, undergraduates, within and outside the immediate communities with a sum of money to start or boost their businesses.
The club, which was formerly named, “Progressive Elites,” muted by Ambassador Kabir Kokumo Ewelomoloun (a.k.a KK) has now changed the name to Royal Ambassadors during the registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
The club founded a multi purpose cooperative called Royal IJO (IFO) Cooperative Multi purpose Society, duly Registered with Ogun State Ministry of Development and Cooperative. The cooperative has disbursed over six million to Micro and Small businesses owners and artisans within two years of its formation.
The President of the club, Alhaji Yusuf Kunle Hassan said the significance of the anniversary was celebration of love and harmony among members.
He said their future plans is to establish N2 million endowment fund to provide grants support and empowerment to widows, also, to provide scholarship for at least two undergraduates, possibly within the community. The scholarship will cover tuitions and monthly allowances. They also plan to raise N8 million for the acquisition of land for club house and relaxation centre for our host community.
According to him, the club empowered youth through partnership with BOLAPEJU ICT center, for ICT training and starter pack.
He said all these are the major projects to commence between now and year 2024.
“Hence, the club is passionately appealing to our guests for generous donation to assist us in execution of our pending projects,” he said.
He concluded by giving thanks to God for keeping all members alive for about five years of establishment with 14 members.
