The reconstruction of the Akute-Denro-Ishasi Road, which began recently after the approval of the Ogun State Executive Council, is making progress.
The road length is approximately 4.656km, including a bridge and many box culverts to address flooding in the area.
Engineers are also currently placing precast drains along the excavated stretch of the road.
The pace at which the project is going is not unconnected to the fact that the road is a high-priority road which has by its hitherto condition, brought untold hardship to road users and residents in the axis.
The reconstruction project is just one out of the many that are going on across the State, even as some are almost completed. One of such is the Panseke-Adigbe Road, which is being asphalted, as engineers continue to construct median.
