Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, has reiterated his team’s commitment to achieving their goals despite the setback of a point deduction.
The Interim Management Committee (IMC) sanctioned the Ikenne club on Wednesday for assaulting the centre referee during their matchday 12 encounter against Gombe United.
The Sky Blue were docked three points and three goals by the IMC.
Remo Stars were also fined N1.25m for the offence.
Ogunmodede said his team would continue to act professionally as the season progresses.
“Though this is a setback toward our goals for the season but we will continue to strive hard towards achieving our goals for the season,” he told Newsmen.
“We will continue to act professional as a team towards the game.”
