It was a show of unity and togetherness as all notable leaders and members of Apc rally round their leader Sooko Adeleke Adewoyin the former deputy governor of the state of Osun under Chief Bisi Akande regime as the party kick started the revalidation and registration exercise in line with the national body directives.
Sooko Adewoyin who received the national delegate in his residence led by His excellency Chief Adeyemo the former deputy governor of Oyo state and Barr Ogunfowokan and others,also in the team was Hon Emmanuel Egor from Akwa ibom state..Baba Sooko as fondly called was the first to be registered and revalidate his membership, he was full of joy and thanking his creator for sparing his life till date and for the confidence the people repose on him.With this unity and honour to one another, we shall remain a formidable force in the political fronts of ile ife.”Apc in ile ife remain a solid force behind Governor Gboyega Oyetola”he said.
Indeed it was an occasion for the constituency to send signal to the outside world that the party and indeed the community is fully united under the leadership of the former deputy governor. In his own speech at the occasion, Chief Basir Awotorebo, former minister of state for water resources assured the gathering that Apc is a party to beat in ife land and especially with this unity.According to him, the exercise is a good opportunity which avail all members of the coalition group to now fully register as members of APC and to continue to feel at home in line with the principles of the leaders of the coalition whose wishes are being accomplished by the government of the day led by Alh Adegboyega Oyetola.Also at the occasion was Hon Chief Rotimi Makinde the former honourable member of the house of representatives,Alh Jamiu Olawumi the S.A to the governor on Education .
