Brazilian youngster, Endrick, has given reasons why he decided to join Real Madrid and snubbed a move to Chelsea, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and other top European clubs.
Endrick recently signed for Real Madrid from Palmeiras and will join the La Liga champions in July 2024 when he turns 18.
Real Madrid landed the 16-year-old forward ahead of top clubs, most notably Chelsea.
Speaking to Marca, Endrick revealed that one of the reasons he joined Real Madrid was because of his idol Cristiano Ronaldo, who played for the Los Blancos in the past.
Endrick said, “Real Madrid are a very big team, and Vini [Vinicius] had sent me messages and gave me more hope. Cristiano too, who is my idol, also played for Real Madrid.
“That is why I chose Real Madrid and I think it is the right choice. God has always been with me and he has told me that it is the best path.”
