The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has called on media organisations interested in deploying journalists to monitor the Feb. 3, re-run and by-elections to apply for accreditation through its.
The commission, in a notice signed by the Secretary to the Commission, Mrs Rose Oriaran-Anthony, on Tuesday in Abuja, said that the dedicated portal for the exercise would be opened from Jan. 17 to Jan. 25.
“Interested media organisations wishing to deploy journalists to cover the elections, are by this notice, expected to apply via https://imap.inecnigeria.org
“The portal will be opened on Wed. Jan. 17 and will close on Thurs, Jan. 25.
“Late submission shall not be entertained, and there will be no extension of time as the portal will automatically shut down on Thurs., Jan. 25, at 12:00 midnight,” Oriaran-Anthon said.
