Raji, APC-PCC Southwest Youth Director celebrates President-elect, Tinubu @ 71
The Director of APC-PCC National Youth Mobilization, South West, Engr. Raji Kazeem Kolawole, has joined other well meaning Nigerians in congratulating the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the occasion of his 71st birthday anniversary.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja, on Wednesday, Raji said it is pertinent to celebrate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who he said is an illustrious son of Africa, considering the fact that this year birthday celebration precedes his being sworn-in as President and Commander-in-Chief of Africa’s most populous country but for his discretion in making this occasion a solemn one just like the last two previous events.
“Let me start by asserting that the occasion of Asiwaju’s birthday is one that should ordinarily call for funfare and reverie considering his wonderful landmarks in advancement of humanity both in the country and globally.
“No doubt, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu ranks among global best with his unprecedented footprints in politics, industry, uncommon talents, capacity and philanthropy”, the statement quoted.
It stressed that this undoubtedly has endeared him into the hearts of teeming Nigerians, who according to him demonstrated their love and trust in him by freely entrusting him with the Nation’s leadership as freely expressed in the February 25 Presidential Election.
Raji disclosed further that his indelible marks in Lagos State where he served as governor between 1999 and 2007 are there for every discerning mind to ascertain his unrivalled track records in public administration.
”Asiwaju’s enduring records as Lagos State Governor are reference points in good governance, astute management of state resources, uncommon capacity in discovering young political talents and making life more abundance for the citizenry. He is unarguably the leading figure in the development of human political capital in the whole of Black Africa”.
”His love for humanity and value for human lives necessitated the cancellation of public celebration of his last two birthday anniversaries.
The last year’s event was more symbolic in that it was put off at the point of commencement of the public colloquium in his honor was more touching.
“That he could put off a programme of such magnitude with invitees from far and near seated showed his premium for human lives above his personal celebration. The occasion was to be on the same day with the unfortunate Kaduna train kidnap incident.”
”As humbly requested by the celebrant, I join other well meaning Nigerians to wish the President -Elect long life, good health and enormous physical and mental capacity in the service to the Nation and human race in general.
“May his tenure as the President and Commander-in-chief of the Country’s Armed forces ushered in unprecedented growth, peace, uncommon blessings and renewed hope. May Asiwaju remain strong in wind and limb”, the statement concluded.
