President Buhari to leave Nigeria on Monday

President Muhammadu Buhari will leave Abuja for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Monday, October 25, 2021.

He is scheduled to participate in the investment conference organized by the Future Investment Initiative Institute.

This was confirmed by Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant to the President and Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in a statement on Sunday.

The President will be joined at the 5th edition of the flagship investment event by business executives from Nigeria, bankers, captains of industry and energy experts to discuss issues on the future of investments across the globe.

Buhari will also perform the lesser Hajj in Madina & Makka before flying back to the country on Friday.

He will be accompanied on the trip by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Pantami, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Zubairu Dada, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, National Security Adviser, Maj. Gen Babagana Monguno, Director General of National Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Abubakar, Managing Director of Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority, Uche Orji and Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

Some participants from the private sector include Mohammed Indimi, Aliko Dangote, Tope Shonubi, Wale Tinubu, Abdulsamad Rabiu, Hassan Usman, Omoboyode Olusanya, Abubakar Suleiman, Herbert Wigwe and Leo Ekeh.
