The Nigeria Police Force has declared Mr. Busari Toheeb Bolaji (born 15th June 2002, NIN: 32352554217) and Mr. Yusuf Jubril Olajuwon (born 2nd February 1993, NIN: 17333067700) wanted following their escape from custody in Lagos.
The incident occurred while the suspects were being escorted to court, sparking security concerns within the community. Both individuals were apprehended on November 4, 2024, over alleged activities at a residence in Ikorodu, Lagos. They were scheduled to appear in court the following day, but their escape led to an adjournment of the case to November 15, 2024.
In a public appeal, the police have urged members of the public with any information on the suspects’ whereabouts to report to the nearest police station immediately. Authorities have also informed the suspects’ families about the ongoing search as efforts intensify to ensure public safety.
The Lagos Police Command has assured the public of their commitment to apprehending the escapees and addressing any breaches in security.
