
Police declare man wanted over alleged homosexuality
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has declared Joseph Babatunde wanted over alleged homosexuality and has urged members of the public to provide any useful information regarding his whereabouts. The suspect is believed to have fled the country to evade arrest.
According to a police source who spoke on condition of anonymity, Babatunde was allegedly caught engaging in same-sex activity with his partner, Babajide, on 23rd April 2021. The police launched an investigation after an eyewitness report was made, leading to a manhunt for both individuals.
The source further revealed that Babajide has also fled and remains at large. He stated that the police are determined to use all available resources to track down Babatunde and his partner so they can face the full weight of the law.
The Nigeria Police Force has called on anyone with relevant information about their whereabouts to report to the nearest police station to assist with the investigation.
