Police declare man wanted for homosexuality

The Nigeria Police Force has declared Sunday Olayemi Afolayan wanted for allegedly practicing homosexuality.

Homosexuality is an attraction between people who are of the same sex and it is illegal in Nigeria punishable by 14 years imprisonment.

According to a public relations officer in the force, Sunday Olayemi Afolayan was caught with some homosexual members practicing homesexuality by the people of the community on December 26th 2020.

He however fled the scene of the incident and members of the public are informed by this information to report their whereabouts.

“We have carried out a thorough investigation on this criminal act and we found it to be true.

“Sadly, in an attempt to apprehend them, Sunday Olayemi Afolayan escaped.

“Anyone with any useful information about his whereabouts should kindly contact the nearest police station as various attempts to arrest and prosecute him have proven abortive,” he said.
