The Osun State Police Command has arrested three men, Muideen Tunji Nafiu 43-year-old, Yusuf Muslim 44-year-old and Rabiu Fatai 51-year-old, for killing a widow, Aisat Yekeen, for money ritual.
The victim, a 53-year-old woman, was reportedly missing on March 8th, 2022, at Ile Ogbo in Ayedire Local government of the state.
Addressing journalists, the Police Public Relations Officer, Osun State command, SP Yemisi Opalola said that the suspects abducted the woman from her residence at Ile Ogbo.
Opalola further said that the suspects removed the deceased’s head, hands, legs and heart before they buried the remaining part in the nearby bush at Ile Ogbo.
She stressed that the suspects confessed that they killed the woman at Ile-Ogbo and took her body parts to Lalupo in Oyo State where they performed the ritual.
According to her, “The remains of the deceased has been exhumed and the autopsy was conducted on her by the government pathologist.
“The suspects will be charged to court upon completion of investigation,” she said.
