PL: Man Utd appoints Chido Obi-Martin as third-choice striker, following Hojlund and Zirkzee
Manchester United have officially included Chido Obi-Martin in their first team for this season.
The Danish forward is listed as the third-choice striker behind Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on his X handle on Wednesday, the 16-year-old is expected to get some minutes this campaign.
Obi-Martin signed for United as a free agent after leaving Arsenal this summer.
He made headlines in November 2023, after he scored 10 times for Arsenal’s U16s in a 14-3 win over Liverpool.
In total, Obi-Martin scored 32 goals in 24 appearances at youth team level for Arsenal last season and trained with the first team.
