Hon Olumide Aderinokun, PDP House of Representatives can-didate for Abeokuta North/Obafemi-Owode/Odeda federal constituency in 2019 elections has pledged that a vote for the party next year meant returning to power a government that is responsible and caring for the wellbeing of its citizens.
Hon Aderinokun stated that PDP by design and manifesto is not a party given to oppressing the people or making life unbearable for them under whatever guise as Nigerians and indeed residents of Ogun State had witnessed under APC led government saying voting for the opposition party next year would mark beginning of new dawn in good governance in Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.
The PDP candidate made this call while flagging off grading of roads around Ofada, Mowe and Aseese axis of the state in which about 50 communities would benefit. This kind gesture according to Hon. Aderinokun was to serve as palliative measures to address problems of bad roads around this axis of the state promising to also replicate same at Abeokuta North and Odeda local governments of the state.
He said “we all know how important good roads are to our daily living and that is why we are doing this bit to reduce the burden on our people. We are already demonstrating that we are quite responsible and care for the people and I assure you that if you will give PDP opportunity to return to power in 2019, your major worry here which is bad roads will be a thing of the past. I therefore urge you all to vote for all PDP candidates during next year’s elections for a life so enriching and prosperous”.
Similarly, Hon Aderinokun has also supported Apete community in Odeda local government with the sum of N1 million for construc-tion of bridge linking it with other communities.
Handing over the N1 million cheque to leaders of the community, the PDP candidate urged them to make judicious use of the money promising to use instrument of lawmaking to aggressively pursue rural development across his federal constituency if voted into office next year.
Meanwhile, the House of Reps candidate has called on Nigerians to remain committed to pursuit of peace, good neighbourliness and spread of love as we celebrate another Christmas season.
Speaking during Santa Claus show organised for primary school pupils to infect them with the joy of the season, Aderinokun said Christmas underscores great lessons of love, peace and sacrificial giving as demonstrated by God who gave His only son for redemption and salvation of mankind.
He explained that for a greater Nigeria,”we must all imbibe these vital lessons, we should learn to be sacrificial and love one another to move this country forward. We must especially take care of these young ones as they remain our pride and great asset for the future”.
Aderinokun in his great enthusiasm danced with the pupils, telling them that the birth of Christ has given hope to all believers.
The pupils were showered with numerous gifts while they were also encouraged to remain dedicated to their studies for a greater tomorrow.
