The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami, has expressed his condolences over the death of Ahmad Joda.
This was contained in a statement issued by the spokesperson to the Minister, Uwa Suleiman during the weekend.
The statement reads, “the entire Digital Economy family, expresses his deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to the family of Alhaji Ahmad Joda OFR, CON, CFR the Adamawa State Government, the Lamido of Adamawa Alhaji Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustafa and the Adamawa Emirate over the sad event of his demise which occurred Friday, 13th August 2021.
“Alhaji Ahmed Joda’s legacies as an accomplished administrator which took him to the highest echelons of public service and established him as a worthy ambassador of Nigeria and indeed, the African continent, shall remain evergreen in our memories as we strive to emulate the principles of hard work, loyalty and service to country, which he exemplified.
“The Digital Economy particularly mourns the loss of the pioneer chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission. We pray that the Almighty Allah grant him Aljannah Firdaus and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”, it concluded.
