Panic in Imo community as unknown arsonists raze Nwaechefu’s building

There is tension in the Amakohia community, Owerri, Imo State as yet to be identified arsonists maliciously razed down a building belonging to one Mr Franlin Nwaechefu.

Despite spirited efforts of Imo State fire service, neighbours and sympathisers, the ranging inferno could not be contained.

Unfortunately  property including cars worth several millions of Naira were lost in the inferno. However, our correspondent reports that no life was lost in the incident which started around 18.30HRS on the 25th of July 2022.

In the meantime, the Imo State police command said preliminary investigation has commenced into the incident, insisting that the perpetrators of the unfortunate incident will be unraveled and brought to justice.

Our Correspondent reports that Imo state has witnessed many violent attacks on property and human lives lately. The perpetrators had always been referred to as unknown arsonists or unknown gunmen which has raised the level of insecurity in the state to an alarming level.
