PalmPay maintains zero-fee transfers to boost financial inclusion

Financial technology firm, PalmPay, has announced the continuation of its zero-fee transfer policy for all users, aiming to promote financial inclusion.
The company highlighted that since the feature was introduced earlier this year, users have been able to make transfers to all banks in Nigeria without incurring any fees.
PalmPay’s Managing Director, Chika Nwosu, reiterated this commitment in a statement on the continuation of the service, he stated, “We are committed to ensuring smooth and easy transactions with our free transfer feature.
“This shows our dedication to providing accessible and affordable financial services to our over 30 million users and every Nigerian. We believe everyone should have access to affordable financial services.”
The fintech firm reaffirmed its mission to drive economic empowerment in Nigeria through offering a range of high-quality products, including money transfers, bill payments, credit services, and savings via its app and mobile money agents.
PalmPay also emphasised that its users could send and receive money seamlessly, pay bills effortlessly, shop conveniently, and earn discounts and cashback on transactions.
The statement added, “By eliminating transfer fees to all banks on its app, PalmPay has empowered its millions of customers to enjoy endless fund transfers to family and friends, pay their bills seamlessly, and manage their finances more effectively.”
