The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has released the results of its computer-based tests for the recruitment of teachers into primary schools in the state, with a cut-off mark of 50% set for qualification to the next stage.
The Executive Chairman of the Board, Nureni Adeniran, made the disclosure in a statement on Wednesday, advising all candidates to log into their portal to access their results.
“The cut-off mark is set at 50% to ensure that only the best candidates are selected for the next stage of the recruitment process,” Adeniran said.
The recruitment exercise, which saw 52,423 applicants vie for 7,000 primary school teaching positions, is part of the state government’s efforts to enhance educational infrastructure and services.
Adeniran reiterated the Board’s commitment to this goal, stating, “We are dedicated to ensuring that our schools have the best teachers to provide quality education to our children.”
Candidates are urged to check their results and proceed to the next stage if they meet the cut-off mark. The Board’s portal is open for candidates to access their results and proceed with the recruitment process.
