Oyetola’s administration has been providing exceptional leadership quality — Insurance Brokers
The leadership of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) on Thursday applauded the leadership style of the Administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun since its inception.
NCRIB described Oyetola as a seasoned technocrat and lauded his Administration for bringing to bear, his wealth of experience in the private sector to stimulate the State’s economy as manifested in the monumental achievements made so far.
The Insurance Brokers gave the commendations through their President, Dr. (Mrs.) Bola Onigbogi, during the 2021 Chief Executive Officers’ Retreat held at Zenabab Half Moon Resort, Ilesa.
This is even as Governor Adegboyega Oyetola urged members of the Council to continue to work hard and demonstrate leadership in order to retain their position as the foremost insurance brokers in the country.
The Retreat was declared open by the Governor.
Speaking on behalf of the Insurance Brokers, the NCRIB President, Dr. Onigbogi commended the Governor for making the organisation proud by his laudable achievements.
She appreciated the numerous contributions received from the Governor, saying Oyetola has proved himself a committed Fellow.
“I must appreciate the Governor for his continued support who out of his tight schedule still deemed it fit to honour us to declare this Retreat open,” she said.
Onigbogi urged members to take the ultimate advantage of the Retreat for their professional and personal benefits.
In his remarks, Governor Oyetola commended the leadership and members of the Council for maintaining their status as critical stakeholders in the nation’s economy.
He tasked the members on selfless service to nation building just as he implored them to continue to make a difference in the efforts to rebuild the nation’s economy.
Oyetola said, “The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers is noted for regularly building the capacity of its members to strengthen its performance and achieve its vision.
“I am indeed happy that the Council has sustained this tradition over the years. It is no wonder that the Council is able to take its place as a critical stakeholder in the nation’s economy while also rising above stormy economic waters.
“These testimonies bear eloquent testament to the quality of leadership, guidance and direction the Chief Executive Officer of this Council is providing for his organisation.”
Describing the theme of the Retreat tagged “Leading: Heart before the Hand” as apt and timely, Oyetola said the theme would clearly address the way leadership should go in all seasons, especially at these challenging times, for the nation to take its place in the comity of nations.
He expressed optimism in the fact that the members of the Council will be thoroughly motivated at the Retreat to build a robust intellectual base to take the organisation to the next level.
“I also have no doubt that the outcomes of today’s Retreat which are the functions of the heart will lead the hand of the Council to its desired destination.
“Permit me to conclude by saying that for the workplace to succeed, every member must imbibe the CEO mentality as the success of an organisation is a blend of the stellar efforts of all members,” he added.
