Oyetola hails Farounbi’s virtues at 75
…says he’s a bridge builder, patriotic Nigerian
The Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola CON, on Sunday, felicitated the former Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Philippines, Ambassador (Dr.) Akinyemi Farounbi on the occasion of his 75th birthday anniversary.
The immediate past Osun State Governor described the septuagenarian as a detribalized Nigerian, patriotic citizen and bridge builder whose wealth of experience had impacted greatly on humanity.
Oyetola in a statement personally signed by him, hailed the Igbomina-born professional-technocrat cum politician for his indelible footprints in both private and public sectors.
The statement read in parts: “Celebrating a great man like Dr. Farounbi is like celebrating the good work of nature. He is an exceptional being; an educationist par excellence, technocrat of repute and a renowned politician and community leader, whose tremendous impacts had transversed sectors of the economy in our dear state, Nigeria and the globe.
“As you celebrate yet another milestone birthday of your existence today, I pray God to continue to imbue you with more wisdom, knowledge and understanding, and above all, good health, longevity of life and prosperity. Congratulations Sir.”
