Oyetola commiserates with Osun Amotekun’s Corps Commander over wife’s death

Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun, has commiserated with the Corps Commander, Osun Amotekun, Brigadier General Bashir Adewinmbi (rtd.) over the demise of his wife, Mrs Abibat Chinyere Adewinmbi who passed on earlier today at the age of 47.

Oyetola in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, expressed deep shock and grief over the sudden death of Mrs Adewinmbi.

The governor who described the deceased as a virtuous woman, caring mother and an epitome of womanhood, said she would be remembered for her tremendous support in the home front.

Governor Oyetola condoled Brigadier General Adewinmbi and the rest of the family just as he prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

“It is with a heart full of sadness and grief that I received news of the demise of Mrs Abibat Chinyere Adewinmbi who passed on earlier today at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Lagos State.

“We identify with the Amotekun Corps Commander, Brigadier General, Bashir Adewinmbi, children and other members of the family at this critical time and pray God for the repose of the departed soul in paradise.

“Death is inevitable, but we take solace in the fact that the late Mrs Adewinmbi lived a fulfilled and worthy life that was dedicated to the service God and humanity.

“May Almighty God grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and console them permanently,” Oyetola added.
