The federal government has been called upon to as a matter of urgency redesign and overhaul the security architecture of the country to forestall further loss of innocent lives.

This wake up call came from Aviary Association Worldwide through its Public Relations Officer, Mr. Julius Imabeh, said this became imperative because the security agencies have failed to secure lifes and property of the citizenry.

Mr. Imabeh made the call last Sunday while condemning the attack on St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo state, describing the attack as very shocking, barbaric, rape on human race, noting that this ugly incident which needed to be nip in the bud must be attacked immediately to prevent another occurrence which has been spontaneous in recent times.

Berating the attack, Mr. Imabeh decried the indisputable evidence of rising insecurity in the country charging all the three tiers of government to rejig their security apparatus so as to be more proactive and ensure that the perpetrators and instigators of the attack are brought to justice.

He further said that the government at all levels should permanently find a lasting solution to the security challenges facing the country in order to rebuild and repose the confidence of united nation in the mind of the entire masses. Commiserating with the victims and families of the Owo attack, Mr. Imabeh said more innocent Nigerians have once again been subjected to this unprecedented level of violence in one of the most peace loving parts of the country.
