Osun Tribunal: Ibiyemi rejoices with Oyetola on his victory

The publisher, Nigerian NewsDirect Newspaper, Dr. Samuel Ibiyemi has rejoiced with His Excellency, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola on his victory at the Election petition tribunal.

Ibiyemi, in a congratulatory statement, salute the courageous disposition of Oyetola by approaching the court to retrieve his stolen mandate. With the judgement, it shows clearly that Oyetola won the July 16, 2022 Governorship election.

Ibiyemi, who alluded to the great work done by the legal team of Gboyega Oyetola for the brilliant legal job done as they turned to piece meal all the evidences brought by the second respondent to the tribunal.

He noted that the three-man tribunal led by Hon. Justice Tersea Kume did a great job by dispensing justice accordingly without fear or favour.

Ibiyemi, however sues for peace amongst the political class across political divides and their followers to maintain law and order so that it will be a win-win situation for Osun State.

It would be recalled that former Governor Gboyega Oyetola was honoured as the Hero of Democracy and Good Governance by the management and Editor-in-chief of Nigerian NewsDirect Newspaper on Friday in Lagos, at the 12th anniversary award/lecture of the Newspaper.

Oyetola who was represented on the occasion by his media aide, Ismail Omipidan, according to him, Oyetola was honoured for stabilising the economy of Osun in spite of the visible socio-economic challenges confronting the State.

Receiving the award on behalf of his principal, Omipidan who then expressed confidence that in no distant time his Principal would return to Osun to continue from where he stopped in November last year.
