Osun: Security operatives rescue kidnapped person

The joint operatives of Nigeria Police Force, Amotekun corps officials, hunters and vigilante men in Osun State have rescued the remaining person in the captive of kidnappers.
Recall that gunmen had on Sunday night abducted travellers along Omo/Erin-Ijesha road, in Ori-Ade Local Government Area of Osun State.
A police source disclosed that the gunmen kidnapped a man and a woman and took them to a nearby bush around Ori-Oke Omo while others were left at the scene.
It was gathered that the police on Monday rescued one person while the combine operatives had been combing the forest in the area.
The spokesperson of Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the rescue of the victim.
She added that Osun Joint Task Force, JTF was inclusive in the rescue operation.
She maintained that “the Commissioner of Police has vowed to ensure their release, and make sure that Osun Command is rid of every criminal activity.
“His word is his bond. Activities are ongoing to arrest the criminals,” she added.
