Osun poll: We’re monitoring happenings – EFCC
Some operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have said they were observing happenings in the ongoing Osun governorship poll.
About six operatives of the agency had arrived at Saint Peters Primary School Ward 1, Unit 1, Iragbiji, Osun state, when voting was in progress.
Upon arrival, one of the operatives that were approached by our correspondent referred him to the leader of the team, who simply said, “we are here to observe and monitor happenings. No arrest yet.”
The said official, a woman however declined to mention her name and refused to comment further despite repeated efforts to get further clarification from her.
Also at Ward 1 Unit 2, Popo, Iragbiji, where Governor Adegboyega Oyetola voted, officials of EFCC were also sighted.
