Osun Police investigate murder of commercial motorcyclist

The Osun State Police Command has announced that it has commenced a discreet investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death of one Toyin Oluwaseun, a commercial motorcyclist in Ilesa.
A statement made available on Saturday by the command’s spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, said the deceased was found dead in an uncompleted building around Bolorunduro area, Ilesa.
Opalola had said the owner of the building had reported to the police that a man at the point of death was seen in his house that was under construction.
The uncompleted building the statement explained is located in a new site along the Ilesa-Akure expressway.
The statement revealed that the senior police officer in charge of B Division, Ilesa promptly mobilised detectives to the scene but on getting there they found Toyin, the injured commercial motorcyclist dead.
According to the statement, “Photographs were taken, and the corpse was deposited at the Wesley Guild Hospital mortuary, Ilesa for autopsy.”
Opalola also revealed that the victim was 22 years old and a commercial motorcyclist identity card with the name Toyin Oluwaseun was found in his pocket.
She also stated that an investigation was in progress to determine the cause of death and arrest any perpetrators.
