Osun Police command appoints new spokesperson

The Osun State Police Command has announced the appointment of DSP Abiodun Zechariah as its new spokesperson.

Zechariah replaces SP Adeoye Adeola, who has been reassigned to the Police Command in Ondo State.

In a statement issued by the outgoing spokesperson in Osogbo on Wednesday, it was revealed that DSP Abiodun holds a B.Sc in Mathematics from the Nigeria Police Academy.

He was inducted into the Nigeria Police Force in 2018 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), joining the Regular Course 1 at the Police Academy. Before his new assignment, he served as a Unit Commander at the four PMF in Ibadan.
