Osun NSCDC gets new commandant

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun command said Mr Emmanuel Ocheja, has assumed office as new command in the state.

The corps Public Relations Officer, Adigun Daniel, in a statement on Monday in Osogbo, said that Ocheja, took over from Commandant Abdulkadir Sulu, who has been redeployed to Abuja.

Adigun said that Ocheja, until his deployment to the state was at various times Head of Department, Intelligence and Investigation in Abuja, Borno, Bauchi, Ebonyi, Benue, Rivers, Bayelsa and Edo.

He said that the new commandant was also at a time the acting commandant in Borno.

He said that the commandant, upon his resumption promised to uphold the cardinal points of the NSCDC Commandant General to rejig, revamp, restructure and reposition the corps for greater efficiency and service delivery.

Adigun added that Ocheja also reitated determination for proactive operations to maintain the relative peaceful atmosphere in the state
