Thousands of Muslims in Osun State gathered at the Osogbo Central IEID on Sunday to organise a special prayer for rainfall.
The prayer which was led by the Grand Imam and Chairman of the League of Imams and Alfas, Osun State, Sheikh Musa Animashaun held at the Osogbo Central IEID along Ibokun road, state capital
Animashaun emphasised the importance of seeking Allah’s guidance and forgiveness during challenging times.
He called on the residents of the state to seek forgiveness and blessings from God.
Sheikh Animashaun stated, “Whenever there is a possible threat of drought, we are enjoined by Allah (SWT) through His Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) that we should go back to Him, and seek His guidance and forgiveness.”
