Osun House of Reps: I’m the most qualified — Ogo-Oluwa Kitan

An All Progressives Congress (APC) leading House of Representatives aspirant for Osogbo, Olorunda, Irepodun and Orolu Federal Constituency, Abosede Ogo-Oluwa has reiterated her determination and readiness to reposition, transform and correct the misrepresentation of the largest Federal Constituency if the mandate is given to her.

The leading aspirant made this known recently when she visited party leaders as well as party executives in Irepodun local government Council Area in Ilobu and Orolu local government Council Area in Ifon Osun.

Abosede said to experience unprecedented human capital development, Osogbo Federal Constituency  needs someone that is committed, who will ensure that whatever is meant for the betterment of Osogbo Federal Constituency is given to it.

She stressed that Osogbo Federal Constituency is lacking human capital development and to solve this problem, people of the largest federal constituency need to be meaningfully empowered, but an unprepared and unproductive member of National Assembly cannot create job opportunities for the people of the constituency.

Ogo-Oluwa Kitan, who has been meeting with party leaders, executives and stakeholders of the party in her bid to seek for the party nomination, unveiled her manifestos to the constituents, promising to transform Osogbo Federal Constituency through effective representation by delivering unquantifiable dividends of democracy to all and sundry in the constituency.

She promised to demystify and correct the situation whereby public office holders would be seeing themselves as superior to  party leaders and electorate.

“I don’t promise and fail, I promise things that would be fulfilled. I promise that things will be completely changed for better in our dear constituency and the entire people of Osogbo Federal Constituency will smile again and no one will regret supporting me,” she said.

According to her, “An effective lawmaker must have a sound voice to speak for his or her constituents; must be tactical and have negotiating power as well as lobbying capacity and tactics to know how to get into relevant committees that will address the needs and yearning of the constituents and then bring development and job opportunities for them.”

Abosede explained further, “I am assuring all party leaders, members, stakeholders, supporters and sympathisers of the party that I’m in the race to change the narratives for better with your support, because, I have identified my foundation, Ogo Oluwa Kitan Foundation (OKF) with agencies, ministries and international institutions that will help provide funding for the kind of development, empowerment and  poverty alleviating programmes for the betterment of us all and that can not be compared with others.

“If given opportunity, I will be the most visible, accessible and listening Federal lawmaker in the history of Osogbo Federal Constituency,” she promised.
