Osun govt, labour agree on 75,000 minimum wage

The Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, Osun State chapter, has revealed that Osun State government has approved the sum of N75,000 as minimum wage for civil servants.

The Osun NLC chairman, Christopher Arapasopo, disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday.

Arapasopo, in the statement said the approval was made by Governor Ademola Adeleke on Tuesday.

The statement said,”The Organised Labour in Osun State and the Government, after exhaustive deliberations, have decided on N75,000.00 as the new minimum wage in Osun State.

“We’ll harmonize the tables between today and Thursday. Thursday 4pm by God’s grace we’ll get it signed. All other details including and not restricted to the effective commencement date shall be captured in that agreement.”
