Osun Election: Ibiyemi canvasses votes for Oyetola in market places

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and an aspirant for the House of Representatives in the just concluded primary, Dr. Samuel Ibiyemi, has taken campaign for the re-election of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola to market men and women in Ile-Ife.
The party’s campaign train moved to Ilode wards in Ife-East Local Government Area of Osun State yesterday as part of the ongoing unit to unit, ward to ward and Local Government to Local Government campaign to canvass votes for Oyetola in the forthcoming July 16, Governorship election.
Ibiyemi, who led the campaign train speaks on the need to re-elect Governor Oyetola for the economic transformation of the state and Ile-Ife in particular, said Ile Ife stands to benefit more if Oyetola is re-elected for second term.
Addressing market men and women at Ajitowobaje market, Ilode, Ibiyemi said, “We come here to beg you to come out en masse on July 16 to vote Governor Agboyega Oyetola. Let’s mobilise our people from house to house, unit to unit and ward to ward to vote APC. Let collect and keep our PVC and on the day of election, let come out and vote. We want to let them know that Osun stands for APC.”
Ibiyemi said the socio-economic advancement and landmark developments the ancient town had witnessed under the progressive government, assuring that Ife should reciprocate the good gesture by voting massively for Oyetola.
“The great things we have witnessed under the Progressives had never happened before. There’s no doubt in the fact that we have benefitted tremendously from the progressive government over the years and we would continue to witness more.
“It is worthy of mentioning that APC Government has broken the jinx of impossibility and eliminated the curse of retrogression on Ile-Ife and as well placed us in our rightful position,” Ibiyemi declared.
He, therefore, urged market men and women in the area to come out on election day and vote for Oyetola.
