Osun APC rallies support for ex-Senate spokesman as APC National Secretary

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has thrown its weight behind the choice of Senator Ajibola Basiru as the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of his ratification by the party’s National Executive Council(NEC).

The state chairman of the party, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Chief Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo, the Osun State capital today, stated that the Osogbo-born Senator possess all it takes to perform optimally as the  National Secretary of the party.

Lawal disclosed that a vote of confidence was unanimously passed by the state executive officers of the party at a meeting yesterday in the state party secretariat in Osogbo on the suitability of Senator Basiru to occupy the office of the National APC Secretary.
