In a statement issued by the state deputy chairman of the party, Sooko Taju Lawal, in Osogbo yesterday, the appointment of Famodun as the Owa of Igbajoland by Oyetola was a square peg in a square hole.
Lawal disclosed that that the new Owa of Igbajoland is every inch a monarch by conduct, speech and attitudinal dispositions to issues.
The Osun State APC deputy chairman congratulated all the sons and daughters of Igbajoland for having someone of Famodun’s status as the new traditional ruler of the ancient town.
He stated that with the identifiable track records of the new Owa in the society, the community would be better for it as his reign would attract spectacular development in the town.
Lawal who described Famodun as a quintessential and experienced party administrator disclosed that the counseling and leadership ingenuity of the new monarch would be missed by all the members of the state executive officers of the party.
In his words: “We are happy for our boss on his appointment as the new Owa of Igbajoland by the Osun State Governor Oyetola yesterday.
