Osun 2026: Senator Babajide Omoworare completes eleven road projects as a testament of good governance to come

His recent rehabilitation of eleven township roads in Ile-Ife is a landmark achievement that underscores his commitment to grassroots development.

To mark the completion of the final phase of these projects, Senator Omoworare paid a visit to Akogun’s Palace, where he was warmly received by traditional rulers, political leaders, and community stakeholders. Among those in attendance were the Executive Chairman of Ife East, Hon. Chief Safiriyu Akinwale, and his Ife Ooye counterpart, Hon. Ganiyu Egbetunde, alongside their councilors. Their presence not only highlighted the significance of the occasion but also reinforced the widespread acknowledgment of the senator’s selfless contributions to the region.
During the event, Oba Muritala Adedoyin, the Owakogun Okwerewe of Ife, expressed profound gratitude and admiration for Senator Omoworare’s efforts. The revered traditional ruler emphasized that, despite not currently holding any political office, the senator had undertaken and completed these crucial road projects; an uncommon feat in contemporary politics.
According to Oba Adedoyin, this selfless act of leadership is a clear indication of Omoworare’s deep commitment to the people’s well-being.
Oba Muritala Adedoyin went further to declare that Senator Babajide Omoworare embodies the qualities of an ideal leader and would be an excellent governor if given the mandate in 2026.

The statement from the Owakogun Okwerewe of Ife is a reflection of the growing support for Omoworare’s leadership ambitions across various quarters.
Similarly, Baale Adegboyega Dauda Ayoola, the Baale of Oke-Eso/Ita-Agbon, Ile-Ife, also threw his weight behind Senator Omoworare.
He lamented the long-standing political neglect of Ile-Ife and stressed that Osun State desperately needs a visionary leader capable of revitalizing its economy.
According to the Baale, Omoworare has the competence and track record to attract investors, foster industrial growth, and create an environment of prosperity for all.
