Ortom sack Lobi stars vice chairman

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has sacked the vice chairman of Lobi stars  Football Club of Makurdi Mike Idoko,

In a Three  Paragraph statement signed by the Secretary of the State Government ( SSG) Professor Tony Ijoho  and made available to Nigerian NewDirect, directed Mike Idoko to handover the club property to the Secretary of the club  Terzungwe Chugh  with immediate effect.

Since the match against Katsina United which Lobi stars won  2- 1 at Aper Aku stadium,makurdi supporters of the club have been calling for the removal of the former Sunshine Stars FC Chief Executive Officer.

The called for the sacked of Idoko reached a climax when placards carrying protesters stormed Aper Aku stadium and staged a peaceful demonstration.

Governor Ortom was said to have expressed dismayed over the poor performances of the state owned premier league club and vowed to overhaul the entire management.

Already the Secretary of Lobi stars FC ,Terzungwe Chugh ,whom Idoko handed over has commenced preparation for Sunday home game against Plateau united at Aper Aku stadium in Makurdi.
