OOU Alumni  celebrates as seven graduates become judges in Ogun

The Alumni association of the Law department of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State has celebrated the recent appointment of seven of its members as judges in the Ogun State Judiciary.

It was gathered that seven out of the eight newly appointed were alumni of OOU.

According to the PRO of the alumni association, Barrister Bello Kazeem Adesina, “It is a thing of joy that the faculty is fast becoming the warehouse and the power house for appointments of judicial officers in the state and beyond.”

“I am extremely confident that those appointed will live up to expectations as they have demonstrated integrity, fear of God, wisdom and intellectual capacities before they were even appointed.”

Meanwhile, the president of the Law faculty alumni association, OOU, Ago Iwoye, Barrister Femi Shokan  has enjoined the new appointees to discharge their duties diligently. He prayed for divine wisdom for the new judges.

The swearing in ceremony took place yeaterday, 6th of January at Abeokuta, Ogun state capital.
