Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, has celebrated a dedicated son of Ile-Ife, Senator Babajide Omoworare, on his birthday.
This is contained in a congratulatory message by the Ooni’s Director of Media and Public Affairs, Moses Olafare, who noted that “as he commissions the new roads he constructed in different parts of Ile-Ife, we are reminded of his visionary spirit and his unwavering dedication to uplifting his beloved community.”
“These roads symbolise not only his commitment to practical progress but also his desire to bridge pathways of unity and prosperity for the generations to come. By championing infrastructure projects and fostering local development, Senator Omoworare continues to embody the values of hard work and loyalty to our ancestral land,” he said.
Ooni described the enduring dedication as royal ambassador being a direct grandson of the 49th Ooni of Ife who doubled as the Governor of the old Western Region of Nigeria, OONI(Sir) Tadenikawo Adesoji Aderemi stands as a testament to the rich heritage of Ile-Ife, the Yoruba people and Oduduwa race at large.
“Senator Omoworare’s accomplishments are a source of pride, and his contributions affirm the importance of service to one’s roots. May this day bring him immense joy, as he witnesses the impact of his works and celebrates with the people who hold him in high regard.
