One killed, others injured in Osun auto crash

An auto crash along Ikirun/Ila-odo road in Osun State, on Tuesday, has claimed the life of a yet-to-be identified man.

It was learnt that the crash occurred around 12:35 am, leaving three others injured.

The spokesperson, Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Osun State chapter, Agnes Ogungbemi who confirmed the incident said a drunk driver jammed another vehicle.

Ogungbemi added that the incident involved two vehicles, M/BENZ truck (BWR 652 XB) and Mazda bus (EPE 69 XU).

“Five persons were involved in the accident. One female adult and two children were injured while one male adult died.

“The victims have been taken to Araromi hospital and the corpse deposited at the hospital morgue, while the crashed vehicles were taken to Iyaganku police station,” she added.
