The Federal Road Safety Corps has confirmed the road crash which claimed one life of one driver while seven students of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University were left injured.
Confirming the incident, the Public Relations Officer FRSC, Bauchi Sector Command, Mr. Rilwan Sulaiman said the accident occurred along Bauchi-Jos in Miri Village, few kilometers away from Bauchi metropolis on Monday.

Riliwan while speaking with newsmen in an interview, said that the accident involved a commercial Vectra and Sharon on head collision. “The Vectra driver died at the spot”.
According to him the Sharon that was conveying students of ATBU to Bauchi before the accident collided with the oncoming empty Vectra and left six students and their driver injured.
“Our operatives swiftly moved to the scene to rescue the victim and the injured passengers. The corpse of the driver was deposited at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital”, he said.
