Senator Iyiola Omisore played host to the leadership of the Ile-Ife sociocultural group, Ife Development Board (IDB), led by the President Mr Lawrence Awowoyin in the evening of Tuesday August 29th, 2023 in his Country Home in Ile-Ife.
During the interaction, Senator Omisore who is a national APC Leader briefed the Ife Leaders of his commitment to the tasks of Ife development and transformation, the focus and tasks entrusted in the Board, by narrating his huge influential effort on the Minister of Works, HE Dave Umahi, to prioritise the completion of Ife road dualisation leading to Akure from OUI roundabout immediately his portfolio was confirmed before the inauguration of the Federal Cabinet which gave rise to his official visitation to the project, especially Ife portion, this week Friday, September 1st, 2021.
Other discussions pertaining to socioeconomic advancements of Ile-ife and its environs were also discussed while the former Osun State Deputy Governor assured the Board of completion of all projects in the ancient town swiftly in the shortest possible time especially the FG projects including the road network among others.
Also on the delegation of the Board was the Executive Secretary, Mr Kola Adetunmbi, Alhaji Olajiire Lawal, Osun State APC Chairman Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal, an ex-Chairman of Ife East LGA Honourable Segun Adeyeni, immediate past Ife East LGA Chairman Honourable Safiriyu Akinwale Akinwole, and others.
