Ojokoro hosts stakeholders conference on 2023 budget
Hon. Hammed Idowu Tijani (HID), the Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area has assured constituents of inclusion of their needs in the council’s 2023 budget.
Hon. Tijani gave this assurance at the Stakeholders Conference in preparation for the 2023 budget held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the council’s secretariat.
Major stakeholders, such as political and religious leaders; tradesmen and artisans; market men and women, as well as youths amongst others, were all present as they submitted their inputs for the 2023 Budget.
Meanwhile, the council boss gave detailed performance of the 2022 budget.
“I am happy to inform you that with the limited available resources, most of the projects submitted in 2022 budget stakeholders conference have been successfully completed and have impacted positively on the lives of our people,” HID Tijani said.
He also used the opportunity of the conference to remind all stakeholders and residents of Ojokoro LCDA once again, on the need to obtain their permanent voters card (PVC) which will enable them vote for the candidate of their choice in the forthcoming general elections.
Present at the event are, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman and members, all the council’s legislators, led by the leader, Hon. Tunde Oyekunle; Secretary to the LCDA, Comrade Kola Omisore; Supervisors and Special Advisers; the management team and other major stakeholders in the council.
