Ojo, Remo Stars to hold further talks over new contract

Dayo Ojo will meet Remo Stars officials on Friday to sort out details of his new contract.

Ojo’s current contract with Remo Stars has expired but the Sky Blue Stars are willing to offer new improved terms to keep the player at the club.

The midfielder has received a mouth watering offer from another Nigeria Premier League outfit, Shooting Stars and is currently weighing up his options.

“I have a meeting scheduled for tomorrow with the management of the club (Remo Stars),” Ojo told reporters in an exclusive chat from his base in Akure on Thursday afternoon.

“I really want to remain at the club but everything will depend on what they put on the table.

“I can’t deny the fact that I love the club but I have to earn what I believe is right for me.”

The 28-year-old joined the Ikenne club from Enyimba two years ago.

He played a crucial role in Remo Stars’ second place finish in the NPL last season.
