The Commander of the Ogun State Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps), Dr. Adesoji Ganzallo, has buried his mother, Mrs Emily Ganzallo, in Abeokuta, the state capital.
Late Mrs Ganzallo, who was laid to rest last Tuesday, died at the age of 87.
Speaking at the event, National Commander of Vigilante Group of Nigeria, Aare Sola Shodiyan, described the late Mrs Gazallo as a woman of uncommon generosity.
According to him, “Mama was a loving mother, a mother to everyone. Whenever mama saw me she would embrace me like her son. I really appreciate God for her life well spent.
“She significantly improved the life of the people around her irrespective of tribe.”
On his part, Chief of Staff to the Chairman of Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Ogun State, Elder Funsho Bankole (JP), said the late Mrs Emily Gazallo instituted an impactful life.
“The late Mrs Emily Gazallo tacitly demonstrated what was possible when creativity and compassion was combined.
“Since her transition, I have heard several great tributes. All of these tributes gave attestation to her uncommon generosity. She was indeed a very gentle and humane woman.
“She was a virtuous woman per excellence, caring and lovely mother. She was always respectful of the views and beliefs of others.
“The good people of Ogun State will miss the kindness, compassion and love of this revered leader,” he said.
Also speaking, Commander of the Amotekun Corps in the state, David Ajibola Akinremi, described the deceased as a phenomenal woman whose life should be emulated.
He promised that his administration would ensure adequate security of lives and property of the people of the state in collaboration with other security operatives.
