Ogun: New CP resumes office, urges criminals to relocate from state

The new Commissioner of Police in Ogun state Command, CP Olanrewaju Yomi Oladimeji on Thursday resumed duty.

Olanrewaju assured the people of the state that the command will synergise with sister agencies to uproot crime and cultism in the state.

He advised all law defaulters to leave the state with immediate effect, stressing that the command will work together with other security agencies to achieve the task ahead.

He added that, the command will do all it possible best to chase cultists out of the state and who ever apprehended will face the rant of the law.

“Our plan is to make sure that all law abiding citizens in Ogun state are sleep well. If you are law abiding, you have no problem. But if you are not law abiding and you are criminal, this is time for you to relocate because if you don’t relocate, you will not like what will happen to you.

“We will make sure that those who are law abiding will enjoy their stay in Ogun state. I can assure you that, we are going to synergise with sister agencies to make sure we achieve our goals.

“We will make sure that Ogun state is not turned into cultists’ state. All cultists who are in Ogun state please start relocating because all the extant laws of cultism that deals with cultism that will make them to know that what we are doing is fine. We are going to make sure we bring it and we are going to prosecute anyone caught for cultism.”
